Each year, CLEVER°FRANKE (C°F) publishes a weather chart. In these annual charts, they explore methods to visualise last year’s weather.
2013: We examined the global weather data of ±30,000 weather stations over the past 50 years. This is based on the analysis of 736,995,534 global measurements of the National Climatic Data Center measured in the last 50 years.
2012: We focused on the relationship between weather data provided by the KNMI (Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute) and the sentiments in social media about the weather, and charted it on this incredible radial map.
2011: In this years edition we tried to show the most prominent weather condition for a specific day with just one glance.
2010: The weather chart of 2010 shows the following data per day in 2009: the minimum and maximum temperatures; sunshine and sun rise and fall; wind speed and direction; precipitation; the multi-year averages of all data for the period 2000-2010.
They make posters with their beautifully visualised results.
