A North American Migration

by on 26/12/2013

A North American Migration is a search for adventure and fun flying. We are starting in Jackson Hole, WY (home sweet home!), near the 45th N parallel. Jackson is high in the Rocky Mountains and borders Grand Teton National Park. Over the next 5 months, we will travel in our ’98 Chevy Astro Van for over 4000 miles through 7 countries to the Pacific coast of Costa Rica and back.

Our main focus will be paragliding (Acro, Cross Country, and Tandem!), but we will see a few other air and wind sports along the way: Skydiving, BASE Jumping, Kitesurfing, and Speed Flying. We also plan to get in touch with the communities we are traveling through by offering complementary tandem flights to the locals along the way. We also hope to support programs like the Cloudbase Foundation, which aims to help less fortunate children around the places we fly.
